Atlast! I am Free!I am free from taking calls 8 hours a day. I am free from infuriated customers. I am free from getting low QA and PCS. I am now free from pressure from my boss. I am now free from puyat. Gone are the days that I have to wake up 8 o ‘clock in the evening and get ready for work. Gone are the days that I have to stay awake and take calls from 11PM- 9AM. Gone are the days that all I am thinking is to get my butt out from work.
After two attempted resignation, finally my boss set me free. I submitted my resignation on January 25, 2011, effective immediately. I got an advised by my doctor to take a rest for couple of days to cure my respiratory infection as well as tonsillitis. I may have a lot of complaints about my work but believe me resigning from my previous job was not easy. Leaving means I’ll never get to see them. Gone are the days that we,Daniela, Imee and I, ate lunch together in our so called the fort every Tuesdays to Fridays and ate at McDonalds every Saturdays and of course I won’t forget the coffee crumble and queso real flavoured ice cream that we used to eat after lunch. Gone are the days that we talk about when will be resigning. No more rules-breaking with them. I surely miss how we used to play with the elevator especially Imee who’s afraid to get stuck on the elevator but likes to press all the buttons down all the way down. No more Comfort room moments. No more gossips with them. No more chit-chats while taking calls. No more comparing salaries. No more salary disputes with Daniela. I will also miss Daniel, my brace sister, who always comes to me to check our colorful braces. J I surely miss my teammates especially my boss who checks on me from time to time particularly if I am absent from work. I miss as well my ever supportive teammates who taught me a lot about work not to mention kalokohans like haduken. Hehe :D
We sacrifice something to get what we want. This is what I wanted so I better get ready for a new beginning. I surely miss them but I have to move on. I will take with me our memories together because this is not goodbye; it is till we meet again. :3
